Gunnersbury Park

Hampstead Heath

At the start of the path to the Heath, by South Hill Park road, close to Hampstead Heath station - see map.

Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens

Either:

Marlborough Gate, which is opposite Lancaster Gate Underground station, just inside the gate in front of the fountains - see map

Or:

Marble Arch - Speakers' corner - see map

Regent's Park

By the Clarence Gate entrance, just before the footbridge, which is a few minutes walk from Baker Streeet Underground station - see map

 

Richmond Park

Pembroke Lodge car park - see map

The nearest station is Richmond [District, Overground & BR].  From there you can take bus 371, in the direction of Kingston, to the American University stop which is the closest to the Park gates.  The journey takes approximately 20 minutes and buses run every 15 minutes at weekends.  Enter the Park and follow the footpath to the right which will take you to Pembroke Lodge.  Bus 65 also leaves from Richmond Station en route to Kingston; its nearest stop is Nightingale Lane from where you will have a steep walk uphill, turning right at the top of the Lane to the Park gates.  It runs approximately every 10 minutes.

The nearest stations are:

Hammersmith [Piccadilly & District lines, Hammersmith & City line] - from the Broadway bus station take a no. 33 bus towards Richmond - buses run every 8 minutes & the journey takes around half an hour.

East Putney [District line] - from the station take a no. 337 bus towards Richmond.- buses run every 12 minutes and the journey takes around half an hour.

Richmond [District, Overground & SW trains] - buses 33 and 493  run from the station to East Sheen.

For all bus services, get off by the junction of Sheen Lane and the Upper Richmond Road in East Sheen. Walk up Sheen Lane to Sheen Gate in 10-15 minutes. The car park is inside the gates, past the toilets on the right.

Trains also run regularly from Waterloo to Mortlake station, the journey takes around 30 minutes and the station is approximately 15-20 minutes walk up Sheen Lane to the Park. For train times go to National Rail Enquiries.
