Solar panels provide hot water. A wood-burning stove with an integral oven uses local tree prunings to heat the living area very efficiently in winter. The oven can be used to cook a range of delicious dishes in less time than you might expect and saves electricity.
For comfort all rooms are equipped with dual air conditioning/heating systems for selective use.
