The Adriatic is not all sunshine in March ... this storm hit the Italian coast on Thursday and stayed with us for 24 hours as we crossed from Ancona to Patras, but our voyage was smooth.  Superfast Ferries  are a world apart from the pitching and yawing Channel ferries that I remember from my younger days.
