To the Vasaloppet 2008
From snowless London to wintry Sweden and my goal of a tenth Worldloppet ski race.
It's the run up to the big one - 90 kms of cross country ski-ing along the most famous trail in the nordic ski world in February 2008.
Vasaloppet Oppet Spar - yes!
4.20 am, a brown hare bounds through the darkness across the bare grass.

If 90 km seems like an awful long way, it's a snowflake in a blizzard compared to Dave Leaning's trip.

Fitness, focus and bravado
