Learn how to nordic walk

You learn the basics of nordic walking and find out about its benefits, then put your new skills into practice in a walk. The session will also include essential warm up and cool down exercises.

After you've attended an introductory workshop you can continue nordic walking by joining a nordic walking for fitness class. You can save money by booking a course of a 1.5 hour introductory workshop plus three classes.

Special taster sessions last 1 hour.

Full introductory workshop sessions last 1.5 hours.

Both include use of high quality Exel and Leki nordic walking poles.

Who is it for

Anyone of average fitness who would like to try nordic walking.

Class size

Minimum 4 - maximum 10 people.

Saturday 16 January 1300-1400 - Hyde Park - special taster session

Tuesday 26 January 1430-1600 - Hyde Park - introductory workshop

Our introductory programme [group classes] will be expanded after Easter 2010 after the ski-ing season. 

Private introductory workshops can be arranged in January.

Cost

1 hour taster £5.00 per person

1.5 hour introductory workshop - £15.00 per person

All session costs include the use of top quality nordic walking poles.
